Our client was ten years old when the car he was in t-boned the front driver door of a construction vehicle after attempting to cross our client's lane of travel.
Following a cervical MRI and neurosurgery consultation, our client was diagnosed with two ligament tears. He was fitted with a cervical collar that he was required to wear at all times for eight weeks.
Thankfully, the ligament tears healed and his cervical spine was overall stable. After over four hours of deliberation, the jury returned a verdict in favor of our client against the construction company and employee-driver in the amount of $250,000, a staggering 10x the amount of the insurance company's original offer.
